A funny experience
Today, I went to eat carrot cake with my mother, justmum2468.blogspot.com . I bought a PEPSI FIRE to drink. While I was eating, I felt urgent & went to the toilet. While using it, the stench was so horrible that I vomited. Why can't people be more considerate? If they were our toilets wouldn't be so horrible. And the thng that I vomited out was red. Can u guess it???

I have called this principle, by whicheach slight variation, if useful, is preserved, by the term Natural Selection. —Charles Darwin from "The Origin of Species"
Charles Robert Darwinwas born on February 12, 1809 in Shrewsbury, England. He was the fifth child and second son of Robert Waring Darwin and Susannah Wedgwood. Darwin was the British naturalist who became famous for his theories of evolution and natural selection. Like several scientists before him, Darwin believed all the life on earth evolved (developed gradually) over millions of years from a few common ancestors.
From 1831 to 1836 Darwin served as naturalist aboard the H.M.S. Beagle on a British science expedition around the world. In South America Darwin found fossils of extinct animals that were similar to modern species. On the Galapagos Islands in the Pacific Ocean he noticed many variations among plants and animals of the same general type as those in South America. The expedition visited places around the world, and Darwin studied plants and animals everywhere he went, collecting specimens for further study.
Upon his return to London Darwin conducted thorough research of his notes and specimens. Out of this study grew several related theories: one, evolution did occur; two, evolutionary change was gradual, requiring thousands to millions of years; three, the primary mechanism for evolution was a process called natural selection; and four, the millions of species alive today arose from a single original life form through a branching process called "specialization."
Darwin's theory of evolutionary selection holds that variation within species occurs randomly and that the survival or extinction of each organism is determined by that organism's ability to adapt to its environment. He set these theories forth in his book called, "On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life" (1859) or "The Origin of Species" for short. After publication of Origin of Species, Darwin continued to write on botany, geology, and zoology until his death in 1882. He is buried in Westminster Abbey.
Darwin's work had a tremendous impact on religious thought. Many people strongly opposed the idea of evolution because it conflicted with their religious convictions. Darwin avoided talking about the theological and sociological aspects of his work, but other writers used his theories to support their own theories about society. Darwin was a reserved, thorough, hard working scholar who concerned himself with the feelings and emotions not only of his family, but friends and peers as well.
It has been supposed that Darwin renounced evolution on his deathbed. Shortly after his death, temperance campaigner and evangelist Lady Elizabeth Hope claimed she visited Darwin at his deathbed, and witnessed the renunciation. Her story was printed in a Boston newspaper and subsequently spread. Lady Hope's story was refuted by Darwin's daughter Henrietta who stated, "I was present at his deathbed ... He never recanted any of his scientific views, either then or earlier."

My trip to Sunway Lagoon
Its December holidays again! As promised, my parents decided to bring us on a short trip to a theme park in Malaysia called Sunway Lagoon. We set off on 23rd November 2004. We went to Goldenmile Complex to board the express bus. The bus took us on a six hours trip to Kuala Lumpur where our hotel is situated.
We put up at Sunway Pyramid Hotel. We had a long trip but we saw beautiful sceneries anyway. After the bus trip, we went into the Sunway Pyramid Hotel to check-in. After checking-in, we went to the Pyramid Tower to shop. We had breakfast and lunch too. The food was sumptuous!
The next day we went to the theme park. The rides we rode were fun & scary.
The next day, we shopped some more. We watched an incredible movie called “The Incredibles”.
For dinner we went to a restaurant called “āh gōng bāk kūh téh”
On the last day, we went back and reached home at nine o’clock at night. I was the one whom nearly fell asleep, & so was my sister.

"Gong Xi Fa Cai"
On CNY Eve, I went to my grandmother's house. I played with my cousin Jeremy( A pokemon master) his box of bionicle pieces he couldn't make anything but I made a hydra and a two-headed alien with the bionicle's mask. For dinner, I ate shark's fin, chicken wings, salmon and tempura. Mmmmm..... they were YUMMY!!!! On the next day, I visited my grandmother again, but Jeremy wasn't there. After that, I visited the rest of my relatives. And when I got home Jeremy called and said he was coming to my house. I made a LEGO robot using LEGO pieces. When my cousin arrived I was very excited. We played the X-BOX which my uncle brought. He also let me play his Gameboy Advance, Saphirre version, pokemon game. I entered the PKMN contest in the game. I lost the first contest and won the 2nd. What a great day!!!!!

Last night, my sister was crazy! She pretended that her dog was a flying dog! She even put her pillows & blanket under her clothes! And she told me a joke. A dead terrapin
Today mike saw our terappin with white spots on it's shell. He said it has a diesease. My arowana also died. My parents buried the arowana(in P2) at Pasir Ris park while we buried the terrapin at the left side of the school.

The suspended boyz
Yesterday(31/01/05), Mrs Tan sacked for boys. They were playing basketball in the canteen and they broke a lamp. Mrs Tan said that electric can cause fire. And suspending those boys from school is just their deserts!
