Determination
Dr Glenn Cunningham
Today, I read a story about a young man called Dr Glenn Cunningham. When Dr Glenn Cunningham was a child, he often arrive at the schoolhouse early and warm it up. But one tragically day, Dr Glenn Cunningham accidentally burn the schoolhouse. Fortunately, his teacher and classmates arrived and dragged him out of the schoolhouse to the nearest county hospital. When he was semi-conscious, he heard the doctor telling his mother that he will not survive but die. Dr Glenn Cunningham did not want to die and.........he survived! When the mortal danger passed, he heard the doctor telling his mother that he should die instead because his lower limbs were burnt. Dr Glenn Cunningham tried to walk but his leg dangled there as lifeless as a piece of wood. One day, his mother wheeled him on the wheelchair out to get some fresh air. He then threw himself of the chair and dragged his legs to the fence and then.........he could walk. That's all, see ya!
